Big Arms
Named after both the broad arm movement, inspired by a British Regimental style of drumming where the arms go up and down steadily with no bearing on the actual rhythm being played, and is Taiko inspired, and the grinder-spark choreography provides a showy climax.
Dervish 91
The basic rhythm in this song is provided by the bass guitar and bass drum, and improvised within on the higher drums. The middle section is Taiko inspired, and the grinder-spark choreography provides a showy climax.
Gomi Daiko ("garbage drums" in Japanese)
Based on Japanese Taiko style drumming, and played on both modern drums and drums made from discarded industrial barrels. Electric bass and electronically modified vocals are also used to complete this concept of old and new, traditional and avant-garde, product and refuse.
Hammer of Bill
Using two Egyptian beats and vocals derived from Indonesian chanting, a monotonous trance-like state is interrupted by a sudden pitch modulation and rhythm phasing.
